Local Environmentalist Works With Foes

Activist Mitch Friedman got into wildlife protection at a very early age. With a degree in wildlife management from Montana State University and a zoology degree from University of Washington, Friedman has been actively working for many years to protect various wildlife habitats in our area. His successes are mainly attributed to his collaborative style in working with others, including potential adversaries. Friedman is currently working with other professionals and organizations, like Jim Detro and the Conservation Northwest, to breed wolves and prevent them from being delisted as an endangered species.
